ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: NATASHA DAVID

We’re excited to welcome Natasha David into the Scribner’s Artist in Residence program! At the age of 18, Natasha David landed her first bartending job at an Irish Pub in the East Village while attending New York University.

After years of working for and running bars and restaurants in New York City, Natasha opened Internationally recognized and award-winning bar, Nitecap along with Alex Day and David Kaplan. Though Nitecap was forced to shut its doors in 2020 due to Covid, Natasha’s art and talent lives on through the community built at Nitecap, her new book Drink Lightly, and with her company You & Me Cocktails.
