We process this data for the purposes of communicating with you, for record keeping and for the establishment, pursuance or defense of legal claims. We have a legitimate interest in replying to communications, to serve our customers and potential customers, to keep records, and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims.

Customer Data: This includes data relating to your stay with us, or any purchases of goods, food, and/or services. We have legitimate interests in understanding what our customers enjoy about our hotel and restaurant and providing tailored services. We may also keep information to comply with legal requirements. This data includes:

  • Contact information: name, title, postal address (billing and delivery), telephone number, email address.
  • Nationality, passport, visa or other government-issued identification data.
  • Important dates (birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions).
  • Social media account ID and other data that is publicly available.
  • Employer name.
  • Travel itinerary or activity data.
  • Transaction history, including prior guest visits, goods and services purchased and special service and amenity requests.
  • Photographs taken at our events.

Transaction details: The data relating to any transactions that we process with respect to your stay or your meal. This may include your payment card information, billing address, and contact information. We require this information in order to perform our contract with you.

Electronic User Data: The data that reveals how you use our websites and online services. This may include IP addresses, details about your web browser, a device ID, and information about the length of time or number of times that you view webpages, or your navigation path through the Websites. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring the effective operation of our Websites and that users are able to easily find the information they seek.

Marketing Data: Data about your preferences for receiving email marketing. We request your consent when you submit your email for our newsletter, and you may withdraw that consent by following the unsubscribe link in the message, or by contacting us.

Other data: We may collect other information if you provide it to us as a part of your stay. This may include special categories of personal information. For example, if you inform us that you wish to host a religious ceremony at our hotel. We process this information based on your explicit consent for a specified purpose.

Although the sections above describe our primary purpose in collecting your information, in many situations we have more than one purpose. For example, if you complete an online purchase we may collect your information to perform our contract with you, but we also collect your information as we have a legitimate interest in maintaining your information after your transaction is complete so that we can quickly and easily respond to any questions about your order. As a result, our collection and processing of your information is based in different contexts upon your consent, our need to perform a contract, our obligations under law, and/or our legitimate interest in conducting our business.

Where we are required to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of the contract between us and you do not provide us with that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract (for example, to deliver goods or services to you). If you don’t provide us with the requested data, we may have to cancel a product or service you have ordered but if we do, we will notify you at the time.

We may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent where this is required or permitted by law.

We do not carry out automated decision making or any type of automated profiling.

By booking, you authorize Escape Hospitality, LLC to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation information and other offers. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

III. How We Collect Your Personal Data

There are several ways we may collect personal data:

Online Services: when you use our online services to make a reservation or purchase goods and services, to communicate with us, to post to our social media pages, to sign up for our newsletter or participate in any offers or surveys.

Visiting and Contacting us: we collect Personal Data when you visit our hotel and use our services, including accommodation, bar, restaurant, leisure and events facilities.

Making bookings at our hotel: we collect Personal Data when you make a reservation by telephone, email, or facsimile for any of our services.

We may automatically collect certain data from you as you use our Websites by using cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Identifiers and Facebook Pixels. We may also use another company to process credit/debit card purchases for our Websites.

We may receive data from third parties such as analytics providers such as Google based outside the EU, advertising networks such as Facebook based outside the EU, such as search information providers such as Google based outside the EU, providers of technical, payment and delivery services, such as payment software systems, third party booking sites, data brokers or aggregators.

IV. Disclosures Of Your Personal Data

We may share your personal data with the parties set out below:

Third-party service providers offering IT and system administration services, payment processing, order fulfillment, website hosting, data analysis, customer service, email delivery, marketing and other services.

Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers.

We only allow such third parties to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions. The Websites do not respond to DNT signals.

When you consent to receive marketing communications, we will keep your data until you unsubscribe.

When deciding what the correct time is to keep the data for we look at its amount, nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means and legal requirements.

In some circumstances we may anonymize your personal data for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
